Metamorphosis (for sonus) comprises a series of seven prints that visualize transformation as a processual sequence, documenting gradual change over the course of seven days. The series begins with an arrangement of parallel lines, which unfold through subtle modifications from one print to the next. Each image builds upon the last, creating a continuous flow that culminates in a three-dimensional superimposition.
Presented as part of the exhibition Si vis pacem, the work echoes the show’s broader themes of shifting memory and materiality. In tracing the quiet evolution of form, Metamorphosis (for sonus) reflects on how memories—like matter—are in constant flux, layered, and reshaped over time.
